Ca ca me fritte:
Manulonch tu sait diminuer le gain du préamp?
Et apparemment y'a pas de potar pour regler le bias? c'est des résistancves à changer !?
The 5150 comes biased very cold from the factory. It can sound more powerful, warmer, less buzzy, with a more musical sounding distortion with the bias mod and the bias adjusted right. Some of the big complaints with the 5150 are the terrible clean channel and horrendous hiss on the lead channel. I lower the gain of the preamp to give you a more useable clean channel, get rid of a lot of the hiss on the lead channel and tighten the overall tone to give you more clarity with less saturation. I have a noise reduction circuit I can add if you want to get rid of the hiss. Many have asked to have the crunch button of the rhythm channel made foot switchable. I can do this several different ways depending on your needs. This doesn't work good for everyone do to the level differences when using the crunch button. I can add a third set of pre and post controls for those looking to have 3 channels with the 5150. I always hated the hardwired power cord of the 5150. I can mod them to have the IEC style power cord like Marshall and many others use.
The mod you hear on the amps above is my FJA 5150 mod. This is the bias mod and the gain lowered.
