Hello!

We from the SD team like the Storm a tad better, it's closer to the old SVDS. The Storm is a tad more hifi sounding, less mids. The scooped mids work great for the ACDC tone.

People who want a bit more midrange honk sometimes prefer the TSR. Although over the years with the newer revisions, the TSR came a bit more scooped as well.

The Storm has some benefits imo;
- Smaller form factor
- 9V powered, std center negative, with the possibility to power from 12V as well
- True optical limiter on board which the TSR does not have

We will also announce shortly that the price will be dropped.

Hello,

No. This will be an update for the Storm pedal. We had some problems with the metal jacks, when abused by users they sometimes crack... The plastic Neutrik ones as used on the amps are way more reliable for that.

We also will use only the most expensive Alpha footswitch now. They are much more reliable.
The power jack also becomes the same as on the TSR, so there is no risk for having it damaged because it protruded to the outside.

EDIT: Was confused, the picture you cited is Tower board prototyping.

Hi there, thanks for the clarification !
