Citation:
Lonesome Cow-boy
It’s always the same story, always the same torments
We’re concealing the abyss dividing us by laughs
Like a sun’s ray trying to move away a storm
But always the night come to fall
Light must sometimes bow to the night
Happy moments as fragile rafts
Of we’re grabbing hold to not sink
I’ve tried, so tried
But the sea was great, too great
I’ve tried, so tried
But all gates end up crashing
Another evening of tears
Another home under the storm
Tonight I’m still taking
And you too, is it my fault ?
Tonight I’m still crying
And you too, it’s of my fault
Tomorrow, I’ll go away for others skies
And tomorrow, your calvary will be end
Love links like pride separate us
Love will kill and pride will bury us
So song are written on the lovers
But I borned in my mother’s tummy
In my father’s arms I learned walking
This home links us, its walls separate us
And today, the frame is rotten
I’ve tried, so tried
But the time has made its work
I’ve tried, so tried
But walls are quivering yet
Another evening of tears
Another home under the storm
Tonight I’m still taking
And you too, is it my fault ?
Tonight I’m still crying
And you too, it’s of my fault
Tomorrow, I’ll go away for others skies
And tomorrow, your calvary will be end
Is truly death a solution, or an eternal resumption ?
I would like everything to stop but I build sand castles
When wind blows up stronger, everything crash again
Is really me who done so much wrong or are you involved ?
What should I choose, between the words and the tablets ?
Rebuild a home with words, will it be in sand ?
I’ve tried, so tried
But the wind is still blowing
I’ve tried, so tried
But my words are carried away
And now I’m too tired
I will never try again
Tomorrow, I’ll go away for others skies
I’ll saddle my horse
Tomorrow, I’ll go away for others skies
A mad gallop to flee from death
A poor lonesome cow-boy with a long way from home
A poor lonesome cowboy with a long way to roam
