Sustain punch mods:
-Remove 470PF caps (in the diode clipping circuit)
-All 8.2K/10K (depending on what muff you have) are now 15K or 18K (depending on how much grit you want)
-All Emmiter resistors are ommited EXCEPT for Q4, though i guess you COULD remove all of them, no?
-The tone stack was NOT messed with or modded in any way.
(Please note:
-The 82K resistors from base to ground (of the transistors); sounds better if you ommit these, but that's just my ears, man.
-i'm still not sure of what the tone stack is on the creammy dreammer.
HOWEVER;
Sounds like this:
-.003uf
-.047uf (on the middle lug of the tone control)
-.02uf)

Step 1: Emitter Mod
"One popular mod is to jumper the emitters of transistors Q1, Q2, and Q3 directly to ground. This is often referred to as the "Creamy Dreamer" mod. If you're into Gilmour-ish BMP tones, you might want to give this one a miss, as it yields a massive increase in gain and distortion. But if you're after a more Pumpkins-like tone, give it a try. Socketing these resistor pads will allow you to experiment with resistors and jumpers in these spots."
Step 2: Resistor Value Changes
* 15K resistors between stages 1-2 and between 2-3.
* 0.1u coupling caps
* replace 12K resistors to +9V with 22K
* 390K to +9V replaced with 470K
* 82K base resistors on Q2 and Q3
ou
Emitter mod; (also known as the Creamy Dreamer mod).
Remove the emitter resistor (value = 100 or 390 ohm) of transistor 1 to 3 (Q1 - Q3) and replacing them with a jumper (wire) you get a different sound. People said it reminded them of the "Siamese Dream" sound (Smashing Pumpkins).
Donc voilà, qu'en pensez-vous?
