Et l'avis des possesseurs sur le forum US FDP:

I would much rather have an MIM Vintage Player than any USA made Strat. They are built better sound better and have zero finish flaws. They have all the same hardware as the USA models but the mexico plant just like the MIJ plant does way better paint jobs than USA does.

This Strat is an incredible value.(I also own a Custom Shop Set Neck Strat, '52 VR Tele, '57 VR Strat and "Special Edition" 60's Classic Rosewood Tele, among others).
So how does it play? It rivals the best that Fender has to offer! Very comfortable and fast neck / action, versatile electronics, fantastic pickups. I play it through a '59 RI Bassman, a '63 Vibrolux (brownface), and a Pro Junior. Have not found a bad combination - sounds great clean and dirtied-up" with a variety of pedals. This guitar is another "home run" for Fender - try one!

The specs are widely quoted in the forum, but... all US hardware, vintage bridge and tuners, Texas Specials, vintage knobs and pup covers...
AND the best Strat necks I've ever played. Beefy, 9.5" radius, medium jumbo frets (although mine look bigger than that) and a vintage tint.
Forget about the MIM, guys. My understanding is that they're only painted and assembled down there. Everything is US and top quality.

Without a doubt, it's a great guitar. Some folks say it's a little on the pricey side for an MIM, but I'm very happy with my Aztec gold model.
I replaced the original white pickguard with an anodized gold one for a "gold on gold" look.

Fit and finish is flawless. I can't believe that the construction is this good. It must be god-send. The best built mexican gutiar I have ever seen EVER! My previous 60's classic had a neck warp, my JV had a bad paint job, and my friend's RC had a loose neck pocket.

I have an Aztec Gold 50's Vintage Player and I guess the only differense is that mine has a Maple Fretboard, and Gold Hardware? It sure is an
amazingly high quality Guitar. It's now my number two guitar (after my EC Signature). But my 50' VP gets out on more and more gigs.

The Vintage Players are amazing guitars. I've got the 60's model in Sonic blue and it's amazing.

One of the all-time best Strat values..... yeah, mine's a 50's OW/Maple, great neck

The Vintage players are a limited edition guitar. They have everything done to them most players do as mods. Its shielded just like the CS
models are. Its got the bridge pickup wired to a tone control 9.5 radius staggard tuners all the same hardware as a 57/62USA ri Strat. Its not
only a much better deal its a million times better guitar.

I just received my aztec gold VP today, and I must say it is a great guitar. I couldn't find anything on this thing to complain about. The gold is very classy looking too.

I own one! It's a 50' vintage player, in Aztec Gold with Gold Hardware and as I recall there were only 250 of each made. An awesome Axe indeed!

Hey guys...the VP strats are EXCELLENT guitars. Mine rivals my G&L for playability and actually sounds a little "better". Tone is in the ear of the beholder.

These are excellent guitars. Fit, finish, electronics, playability, etc. Good score!!

It is a great guitar and has quickly become a main player of mine and I'm going to play it out a lot more often cuz the tone was excellent on stage.

They have all the same hardware as the USA Vintage models same bridge and steel block and even better tuners cause they are staggard for better tuning. Its shielded with paint s-s-s routed body.

Great guitars everyone I know that owns one loves it.

I just got the 60s and it smokes!

I played one just like your Sonic Blue this weekend and I can't get it out of my head.
