Salut Pascal !
Pour les Port City , j'avoue ne jamais avoir testé ni meme vu de pres , j'en ai souvent entendu parler et je connaissait , mais je n'avais jamais vu les specs qui sont tres tres alechantes !
The Port City Wave Cabinet is especially impressive as they have taken the design flaws of both open and closed back cabs, learned from them, and designed something new and unique! Have you ever noticed the pure focused tone of a closed back cab? Sometimes its too focused as it doesn't fill the room with sound! Maybe you prefer the room filling sound of an open back cab? Its nice, but you'll never get tight bass response you crave. The Wave has a special design so you can hear sound coming from both the front, and the back of your speakers as its spun around and pushed out of the wide port located on the lower front of the cab!
This cab is totally unique in its appearance with its frame, however, the magic of this cabinet lies within. The outer shell is crafted from finger jointed 13 ply Baltic birch. The baffle and back panel are made from 1/2 inch Birch ply. Inside, its constructed with a 5 inch wide, 45 degree angle sound deflecting rear panel. This panel is dadoed on both sides of the cabinet for ultimate support. Internal sound waves are projected from the back of the speaker down to the bottom of the cabinet where another 45 degree panel projects sound waves towards the front of the cabinet. The angled port runs the length of the cabinet and projects these sound waves out towards you.
These cabs can be ordered loaded or unloaded. You have your choice of Celection Vintage 30 or G12H speakers. Cabs are wired for mono operation at 8 or 16 Ohms.
Ils ont vraiment pensé a tout , sauf au choix multiple des HP ! ce qui est un peu dommage , parcontre les prix sont tres honnettes !
