Mazda was a brand owned by the Thomson-Houston company, with divisions in the UK and France. BTH (British Thomson-Houston) was later acquired by Thorn-AEI/EMI, which also owned the brands Brimar, Ediswan, and Siemens.
There are some 12AX7 labeled Mazda that were made in France - two kinds I've heard of: chrome-plate and grey-plate. These probably won't have the stretched/arched Mazda logo, it will be plain type with the crossed-flags icon. These tubes may also show up branded RT, Cifte, or Belvu.
Other Mazda-branded ECC83 would probably have been made by Brimar or Ediswan factories in the UK... the blue print makes me think of the later Thorn era, the boxes were light blue then. If the plates are really short with only one flange and look kind of like a 12AT7, they may be East German RFT - but then they should say "Foreign" somewhere. If they're regular length (14mm) with single-flange plates that are boxed-off on one side, they're definitely Brimars and equivalent to their CV4004. If they're just regular-looking 14mm plates with the regular two flanges, they may still be Brimar, or possibly Ediswan. Did Ediswan make an ECC83? - I dunno, but I have one branded Ediswan, which looks identical internally to a Mazda I have... I also have a Brimar tube that was made by Siemens, which says FOREIGN MADE on it. I think they were generally pretty good about that (country of origin), so if they say Great Britain or BVA (British Valve Association), I'd bet Brimar or Ediswan made them.
