Sound: 7
O.K. Let's be realistic. This is not a very high quality guitar, and does not deserve the sort of ratings it's been getting in other reviews. HOWEVER, for the price, this guitar has a very decent sound and a lot of potential. I assume if you're buying a guitar like this, you're not trying to make professional recordings, but just trying to have a good time with an affordable guitar. If this were an old Martin, a high-end Taylor, or a nice handmade guitar, I would be much more inclined to give a rating of 10. But it's not. No where near. Anyway, you get the point. If you own or are buying this guitar, do yourself a HUGE favor. For a few extra dollars (literally), you can buy a bone or Tusq saddle, nut and bridge pins. DO IT. Have someone who knows what they're doing install them. The sound of this guitar improves tremendously with these small upgrades. It really comes alive, and sounds like a much more expensive, higher quality guitar. And it will cost you close to nothing. It's a shame that these companies that mass-produce these affordable guitars don't spend an extra couple of bucks and include these simple things. With these upgrades, I would give an 8 for sound quality, and, for the price, a 10, because once you make the upgrades, you won't get a better bang for your buck.
Voila aussitot demandé, aussitot fait !!
