I was recording a rock guitarist recently in well equipped studio (SSL desk, Genelec speakers, etc).He had insisted on using his own rig - fair enough - which was a ridiculously huge Marshall Mode Four 300w head and cab!
We layed down all his parts, then took a break. For fun I showed him my Nano Amp (No.421), stuck a Marshall Jackhammer overdrive pedal in front of it and fed the Nano amp into the Marshall 4x12.
He played one chord, scratched his head, and and then asked to re-record all his parts through the Nano amp!
He was playing some pretty heavy drop D riffs (a la Queens Of The Stone Age) and the Nano amp sounded awesome!
Just goes to show, eh!
