Looking for that classic 52 Telecaster look, but can't afford a vintage, or reissue copy? This is the deal. Feel, looks and sounds of a 52 Tele, for under 600 bucks. If you did nothing else, this guitar is ready to gig out of the box. The guitar is made in China, but 90% of the name brand guitars these days are. That is why the price is in the attainable reach of most working musicians. Doesn't matter, as I own, and play USA made Tele's and this one burns them all in feel, speed, neck, sound and looks. The neck and body are hand shaped, and that you can't hardly find in any USA made guitar. The hardware is decent, but not USA made. I changed the bridge to a six way vintage that will accept the ash tray cover, and the 3 way switch is your typical Asian made. If you did nothing at all to this guitar, it is a lifetime instrument. The Alnico Duncan pickups have the bit, sound and clearness of a real 52. So, if USA made is important to you, then get out 1200 bucks for a reissue, or 20,000 for a vintage 52. This one is in the decent price range, and you'll love it, like I love mine. Gotta' go, my tubes just warmed up on my Fender Blues Deluxe, and the Ash Lite is hooked up and ready to go.
