Fender Strat (new)
Gibson Les Paul Artisan (70s 3 pickup model; actually belonged to one of the techs)
Pedals
DOD switcher - can't remember the model but basically linked to the wah so that it could be switched in at any point of it's travel.
Wah
Boss Turbo distortion
Turbo Rat
Boss BF2 flanger
Coming Up studio:
Everything recorded through a Marshall JMP-1 w/ an ADA ampulator and a Yamaha SPX-90; Guitars as above plus '71 tele, reissue 60s Les Paul, '64 jag (the red one)
Tour amps/pedals as above
Not sure of the gear after that until A New Morning era; by then he'd started using a Marshall Bluesbreaker with the AC30 and the pedals had expanded a little. But I have got pics of his and Alex Lee's boards from that period.
Cheers

Amps -
When Richard arrived, a 100W Fender "The Twin" and Vox AC30 (fitted with Blue Bulldog speakers) were used by the band. They were slightly unreliable, so he was tempted to change to Marshalls, but he says that when they work, they are the best.
They both run simultaneously ("the Vox on it's most Vox-y setting, and the Twin on it's most Fender-ish and you just get this tremendous wash of sound.")
That was for playing live, but in the studio (on Head Music. Coming Up didn't use any amps whatsoever), they tend to use "practise amps, a mini Marshall one and these fag packet amps shaped in a Marlboro light packet. It has just a speaker and input and an output; you just plug it in and it sounds great."
Pedals -
Boss DD-3 (delay)
Boss Turbo Distortion
Jim Dunlop wah (linked to a Dod FX30-B slave switch, allowing Richard to leave the wah permanently on, and to switch it in when needed)
Pro-Co Turbo Rat
Morley volume pedal
Lovetone Big Cheese (for Head Music)
Lovetone Meat Ball (for Head Music)
He also uses a Marshall JMP-1 preamp, and a Yamaha FX-900 rack.
