C'est clair, autant le numérique donne de très bons résultats dans la modulation d'amplitude, de phase et de temps (comprenez "tous les effets qui ne sont pas de la disto"), autant pour ce qui est traitement des saturations, rien ne vaut l'analogique.

C'est d'ailleurs pour ça qu'on voit assez peu de DM-4 sur les pedalboards..

On la voit tout de même assez souvent, mais il est vrai plutôt chez ceux qui aiment varier les sons de disto/fuzz et qui ont donc déjà pas mal de pédales. C'est à mon avis une excellente pédale de complément, en plus d'une bonne OD et/ou disto de base. Si on a besoin d'une octavia sur trente secondes, et ailleurs de telle fuzz un peu rare et hors de prix etc etc, c'est un bon choix. Si on n'a besoin que d'une OD et d'une disto de bonne qualité, aytant oublier, ça coûtera moins cher de s'acheter deux très bonnes pédales. Comme toujours avec ce genre d'engin, c'est du bon* mais il faut en avoir l'utilité.

Effectivement, malgré ce qu'on pourrait lui reprocher, j'ai deja vu cette DM-4 chez de très grands messieurs tels que Olivier Mellano



Mais ca ne vaut pas l'omniprésence de la DL4 ..
je crois que de ce que j'ai vu, l'ordre est DL4, FM4, DM4 et MM4 (bizaremment le FM4 se retrouve assez souvent)

alors mon cher lemg rien trouvé ?
Il me semble qu'il utilise une pédale d'expression, peut etre une whammy.

Rockman Handheld: After the Mt, King record he used arackmount version (On the clean channel ONLY, used as a Pre-Amp). He also plugged in through the HEADPHONE jack which had been converted to a 3/4" jack, he did this because the headphone jack had more output. And he often used the volume control on the Rockman as opposed to the volume on his amp, he could boost from 15-30db like this. Other rack effects:
