Hellhammer a propos du matériel de Euronymous et de Blesphemer (époque wolf's lair abyss)

Citation:
Well, no. He used...the guitar he used was a Gibson Les Paul , and he had this old Marshall, and...his effects boxes was 2 simple boxes. A "heavy metal" box, which he connected together with another fuzz box, I think it was Tube Screamer or Overdrive or something...?

Ibanez Tube Screamer...[not saying that’s the one]

He connected the two together, and when he had his Marshall at a very low volume, it gave this extremely crunch sound. It was very raw, but it was still distinct, so that’s what we used for De Misteriis. Blasphemer uses Crate amplifiers. The sound is not so grim, but it’s not so sharp, either. I think on the new record, we will try to go for a much bigger sound than we did on Wolf’s Lair Abyss.

Il y a visiblement une Fulltone OCD, à côté de la Soulbender.

Bon, on ne va pas s'embêter. Voici ce qu'on trouve sur le forum Harmony Central :

Guitar geeks- more geek porn

Just posted a couple of pics for anyone interested on the metal boxes strewn about my aching feet. Can't be arsed enumerating all of the excess. Thanks to Paddy and Blue, lighting and film respectively, for responding to my Diva'ish jealousy over Si's twinkly light panels on top of his bass cab. You can see they gave me some too- on top of the LA wank rack, lol. The whole rig was rationalised and expanded from my original half arsed ideas by supremely patient, clear sighted, genius guitar tech Adey Wilson, author of personalities for my gits such as Spike (red strat) and Vader Caster (stoopidly, excessively, to my childish whims, modded by Chandler Guitars-Mexican Strat, debuted with Lowline, formerly Lowlife recently- will post pics of the silliness... aw, it had to be done at least once...) privately, between the crew superiorly monikered DaftoCaster. Think I prefer that. The rack has an Eventide Eclipse set to ear candy thing (known in the trade as -the- Eventide cliche, but I don't mind... ), two quadraverbs with shortish and stupidly long reverbs apiece and a Gibson Echoplex for layering things, all switched by a Ground Control, again, tweaked to optimum by Adey. Expression pedal type things right to left= volume, rate controlled trem, Cry Baby. The thing you don't see in shot is a Mesa Boogie Roadster amp head, the pedalboard at the front of shot being the channel switching thingy for it. Great amp, and thanks to Boogie for being so understanding about the almighty dink sustained at the first night of the Roundhouse. When we get the gapping sorted between switching, Nick=in heaven. Me loves Mesa Boogie, best, reliable, most versatile amps ever made? I think so... Guitars variously included- murdered Les Paul Standard- 11 years with me- now deceased, what an idiot... Spike Milligan's old red Strat, trusty, long time companion but in truth an average guitar, two Fernandes Sustainer guitars, Gibson's generous loaning of two Les Paul customs, one now in my possession- beautiful, two new Gold Tops, out of Gibson's VOS series- a '56 and a '57- absoultely fucking blinding guitars, thanks for sorting that out Juliette and Gibson, so happy with them. oh... and also out of shot is Adey's adhoc, illuminated, nick/idiot spill proof guinness holder. Eh...Fucking 'ell lark... That's fuckin' big time eh?... Guinness 'older?... eh?... fuck's sake... eh?... Lowline made me carry all their gear... bastards... I'm used to FUCKIN' GUINNESS 'OLDERS YOU TWATS, ha ha ha... Go and see them asap, cos they won't survive too many nights out with yours truly, ha, just don't offer to carry their PA for them, lol.... Sorry anybody bored to tears by this shit... x.
