VH1 START FILMING SUPERGROUP REALITY SERIES:

Exclusive - Stand by for a new reality TV show. VH1 commenced filming on their new show - tentatively titled Supergoup - this week in Las Vegas.
The premise of the show is to lock several musicians in a house for 10 days and get them to write and record some new original music.

Originally the network wanted the group to record an album, but at this time it is understood they will settle for one song and hope for more.
So just who makes up this supergroup which has until now, been kept under wraps? The line-up is: Scott Ian (Anthrax) - Guitar; Ted Nugent - Guitar; Evan Seinfeld (Biohazard) - Bass; Sebastian Bach (ex-Skid Row) - Vocals and Jason Bonham (Bonham, UFO, Foreigner) - Drums.

In addition to the 5 musicians, star manager Doc McGhee is in charge and is also living in the house for the duration of filming/recording.
The show will air on VH1 in later this year

In a late breaking twist to the months of rumors surrounding the TV show Rock Star, here's another! The format was set to feature an all-star line-up searching for a 'rock star' lead singer, but I have confirmation that last minute negotiations are in place for the show to feature a well known and prominent rock star musician. The show will set about looking for a lead singer for this musician's new 2006 album.

And before anyone jumps on this - no it is nothing to do with Van Halen or anyone that has ever had anything to do with Van Halen!

I have been asked not to reveal the identity of the musician, as the contract is not yet signed, so with respect to them I will just say - stay tuned!

Quelqu'un d'autre a une idée sur l'identité du groupe ? Malmsteen ?

Glam j'ai un peu compris le sujet, mais mon anglais laisse à désirer... quand tu as des news comme ça, tu peux en faire un mini résumé dans notre langue stp


Je trouve qu'y a du caractère dans ce line up... ça va bien gueuler. Et ils vont faire quoi au juste ? une sorte de loft story ?

Pour simplifier, la premiere emission de VH1 :

ils mettent les zicos qui sont cités, pendant une dizaine de jours, tous ensemble ... ils doivent composer un morceau et l'enregistrer dans ce laps de temps ... bien sûr ils sont filmés 24h/24h

Pour la 2eme emissions, ils veulent faire une sort de "Pop-star" (je pense) mais pour trouver le nouveau chanteur d'un groupe connu.... Ca vient d'etre fait, en australie je crois.... ils ont trouvé le nouveau chanteur d'INXS comme ça (si j'ai bien suivi l'histoire)

Effectivement pour INXS, ils ont trouvé leur nouveau chanteur ainsi.
Mais je ne suis pas sûr que ça se soit passé en Australie.

Bon alors c'est qui ?
Le groupe connu, il est dans le style rock au sens large, rock tendance hard ou FM, classic rock... ?
