Bon allez

Gibson CS DOES do aging in house now. However, the work doesn't really compare with what Tom does. I have a Bonamassa aged goldtop that was aged "in house". I love the guitar, but it is pretty well known that the ageing SUCKED on about 1/3rd of those guitars. Mine is O.K., and I love the way it sounds, but it is strictly O.K. looks wise. Nothing even close to what Tom does. In fact, there is one guy that is no longer employed at Gibson after the debacle. Some of them looked like my 12 yr. old was given a razor blade and a ruler.
The "Goldie" run was done by Murphy, as was the "Kossoff". They aren't going to claim that they were done by him if they were aged in house.
That's part of what took so long to get the "Goldie" run done. Tom is great, not fast. LOL. Now CC#4 "Sandy", I beleive that one will be in house. Hence, they will be available pretty quickly in the dealer showrooms
