une nouvelle pédale devi ever qui me fait de l'oeil:
Citation:
The joystick on the manglers were simply controlling the input gain of each fuzz.
SO, what the MANGLER does in it's non feed back loop mode is use each axis of
the joystick to control the gain of two separate signal paths. In this way
it acts as a dual mono or stereo gain controller, which in turn with certain devi effects will indeed create the same sounds as the manglers of yore.
A diagram of sorts where " RETURN (return gain controlled by axis) > OUTPUT[/b]
... although you aren't limited to that configuration, and I'm sure other routing options will yield various weird results. :thumb:
Someone had asked about the Mangler being OFF when the pedals it was "controlling" are off, but this is not the case. The Mangler will always effect the signal path, though if you need to bypass it with out the aid of a loop, you can simply rest the joystick in the highest gain setting (which is virtually unity) by moving it completely forward, with the feed back switch in the off position. It'd be no different than having a volume pedal in your loop and resting the treadle in the maximum position.
Hope that clears things up! I'll be designing artwork for the little bugger tonight or tomorrow!
