Surtout qu'a priori c'est faux, c'est vraiment très peu probable qu'un endorsement ait jamais eu lieu avec la société Sustain Punch, qui n'était d'ailleurs qu'un seul homme (jeune) qui faisait des modifs de big muff après avoir glané des infos sur les forums DIY, donc "société" c'est beaucoup dire.
Le mec (Jeff Doucette) a marketé la Creamy Dreamer en suggérant qu'elle pouvait avoir le son smashing... (il vendait ça aux fans des smashing).
Billy Corgan a eu vent de l'affaire et acheté en 1999 une creamy dreamer comme il achetait certainement beaucoup d'autres pédales, et elle a fait quelques apparitions sur le pedalboard. On ne sait pas du tout s'il elle a été utilisée sur un album...
Entre temps le Jeff Doucette et sa société Sustain Punch ont mis la clef sous la porte faute de pouvoir développer autre chose que cette modif.
End of story.
C'était en gros la première fois qu'un type qui n'y connaissait rien allait sur les forums DIY demander des infos qu'on lui donnait gratuitement et qu'il exploitait ensuite financièrement.
Du boutique avant l'heure quoi lol, depuis on voit ce que ça a donné.

Guitar effects-pedal designer and amplifier-modification whiz Jeff Doucette was already doing pretty well for himself: The 19-year-old from Pembroke, Ontario, had a fairly thriving business called SustainPunch online at smashing-pumpkins.org/sustainpunch, where he'd served about 5,000 customers worldwide. But recently, the Smashing Pumpkins fan was pleasantly surprised when Pumpkin frontman Billy Corgan discovered his site. Corgan ordered the prototype of an overdrive-and-sustain pedal called "The Creamy Dreamer," which Doucette thought he'd test and then return. But Billy was apparently so impressed that he's going to use the Dreamer on the upcoming Pumpkins record, and is discussing a possible endorsement deal with Doucette, and perhaps even a Pumpkins signature line of effects pedals. "It was a fluke," said Doucette in an exclusive interview with DAMN. "He just happened to find my site. The pedal was still in prototype, but he said he'd been looking for one like it for years. I was surpised and overwhelmed. Now we're talking about a possible deal, and he usually doesn't even discuss endorsements with anybody."
