Voici un extrait de ma conversation avec Soldano:

the object of my email is that unfortunatelly the preamp was bought second hand and it doesnt come with any footswitch, I m wondering what kind of individual footswitch for the jack connector to buy (momentum or continious contact) and also if there were any way I could find a Random Access Footswitch that could connect to the dedicated round footswitch connector so hopefully I have only one cable going out? is this plug an universal one or is it only working with the soldano random acces? (which I would love to have but I knowit is VERY hard to find...)

we don't have any parts for the original footswitch. What we have done for a few people is to modify the X88 so that it can be switched by our Decatone three channel footswitch. Price for the mod and the footswitch is $350. If you are already using a MIDI footcontroller you can buy a MIDI controlled switcher for about the same price and connect it to the X88 with three cords. Each channel requires a switch to turn that channel on. A continuous switch is required. You can switch more than one channel on at the same time, though if we modify the amp to use the Decatone footswitch this is not possible unless you hold the switch down, otherwise the preamp will go to the channel for whichever switch is last released.
Dans l absolu 350usd pour la modif+footswitch c est honnete mais je vais pas reexpedier le x88r aux USA (double fdp, douane etc...). Bon bah va falloir que je fasse des claquettes si je ne veux (peux) pas investir dans un switcher
