Question :
Pourquoi les effets du type : phaser, flanger (ibanez, mxr etc..)
ne passe pas dans ma boucle d'effet !? Lorsque que l'effet est enclenché le son deviens crade, compressé, vraiment pourri...
réponse :
The loop is designed for line level (+4db) processors. Generally when using
pedals there are two problems.
1) the pedal cannot output a signal as loud as that which it receives from
the amp, so there is a loss in volume
2) the signal from the amp causes the pedal to distort
also 3) the loop is a series loop meaning that all the signal goes through the pedal, so if the pedal is not high fidelity it will change the tone.
It is possible to lower the signal level in the loop with a volume pedal between the effects send and the pedal. The amp can also be modified to lower the sginal level in the loop but this will not help any signal degradation due to low quality digital effects.

Peut on augmenté la saturation sur le canal 2 du combo Reverb o Sonic ?
Reponse :
the gain can be increased a fair amount but not as much as in the SLO overdrive channel. I have attached a diagram.
1) bypass the 2.2K V1B cathode resistor with a 22uf or larger capacitor. This will boost gain in both channels.
2) change the 330K V2A grid resistor to 1 meg. This will boost the gain in both channels.
3) change the 220K resistor that is parallel with the clean preamp gain pot to 100K or 47K. This will return the gain in the clean channel back to its normal level. You can reduce the gain in the clean channel by using a lower value resistor in parallel with the clean gain pot. You can also connect a resistor such as 100K from the center terminal on the pot to ground. This will make the clean channel quieter.
