Laurent,
The attenuator will work with any 4,8 or 16 ohm speaker, it can also be made to work with 2 ohms if necessary. The effects loop works well with any time based effects like delay. The effects and your amp's tone travel separability towards the speaker, where they are blended together. There is a send, return jack plus send level control as well as the amp and speaker jacks. Payments can be made by credit card, paypal bank transfer or money order. It would take 7 days or less to assemble and mail a unit. You can call 1-604-432-6009 with your credit card details between 11:00 - 5:30 Pacific time m-f or 12:00 - 3:00 sat. All figures are in Canadian dollars. The loop is mainly for time based effects like delay, reverb, chorus, echo. The effects come at the end of the chain, it doesn't interfere with your main tone especially delay. If you only have a 50w amp, then a 50w for home and live , a 50w attenuator would be sufficient.

options
dual volume fsw $80 -> give you 2 master volumes, you can use it as a volume boost or have one for high for clean and low for dirty. Volumes will be changeable via foot switch.
200w load $25 -> if you plan on using a 100w plus amp or old Marshall's like a 1950's jmp, absorbs up to 200w of power
line out $25 -> send the attenuated signal out.
Plexi Sw $25 -> the attenuator smooths the high end sizzle, plexi add the sizzle ,brightness, back to the amp.
effects loop $80 : A single speaker wet/dry system if you use delay, chorus, echo, reverb pedals you will notice a big difference in sound. delay makes a big difference through this loop rather than in front of the guitar or in your amp's loop. If you want need more info on this option from other users, I can provide you some contact info.
effects loop foot switchable +40 -> turn the effects loop on or off via foot switch. You can bypass the effects with the foot switch.
200v variac out 25-> provides your amp with 200v of power instead of 2200v. You amp's tube will last longer and the amp will run cooler. The sound is softer, not as harsh.
Bedroom Sw $25 -> give you a 0-5w volume range, instead of a 0-100w range. The volume control will become less sensitive. You will get a greater usable volume range to use at home.
headphone jack $25 -> disables the speaker and outputs the sound to your headphones.
rack mount $40 -> a rack mount case
bypass $25 -> bypass the attenuator with a switch, must stop playing before using the switch
solid state overdrive $60 -> overdrive your amp at a lower volume, while still getting a tube overdrive plus a tighter bottom and crispier highs. It contains an additional circuit plus a switch to turn it on or off. It can also be made to turn on or off via foot switch. Usually you would turn the master volume of your amp to about 6 or 7 to overdrive the power tubes. Now you would be able to have the amp's master volume at maybe 5, where the power tubes begin to overdrive. Then you will be overdriving the additional solid state module inside and still getting a tube overdrive sound, with a lower master volume.
Foot switchable overdrive +40 -> turn the ss overdrive on or off via footswitch.
wattage doubler $30 -> can make any small amp louder double or triple the wattage . Could make a small amp sound like a hundred watt amp.
