I just called the Vice-President of Fernandes (ON A SUNDAY!) and asked what we can do about the "Epiphone like" hardware that is being put on the Ravelles that are made in Korea.

Now for the answer...

By the beginning of 2006 ALL Fernandes Guitars will return to being made in CHINA!!! Fernandes own the Chinese factory which means that you will see a return to the more "Gibson like" hardware as well as a MAJOR increase in quality control. This should eliminate the issues you guys have spoke of with the Korean made pieces.


SERIOUS QUESTION

Do you guys REALLY want a Ravelle limited with a Floyd Rose bridge? I have asked the Vice-President and, per my conversaton with him, we can do a LIMITED run of Floyd Rose equipped Ravelles in the not so distant future, as in the next 6 months.

SO WHAT WILL IT TAKE FOR A FLOYD ROSE EQUIPPED RAVELLE TO HAPPEN?

Answer: Simple, we need to take a vote as to which finishes and hardware the guitar will have. ALSO, we need to decide on which pickup combination to use. We need to decide which type of binding to use (if any) and which inlays the guitar will have.

En tous cas le mecs de Fernandes ont l'air assez ouverts aux suggestions, c'est bien. Cosmitron tu devrait leur envoyer quelques unes de tes oeuvres, ça les mettra sur leur derrière je pense.
