Gives you some hint about this nuclear powered flash light they use !
I can assure you the fingerboard is real-black, not dark gray, and that the guitar isn't orange ;-)

i prefer the colour on the one on the left but do not like the black writing... maybe the colour difference is just because of the different angle of the guitars in the picture

i am not sure.... i have wanted this guitar for over 10 years and i want it to be perfect!! i wish washburn didn't play these games with changing the way things are made etc.

about the flash light in the picture etc - look at these pictures i got from the boogie street forum - they are of nx6's - a darker padauk and a 'new' padauk, you can see the difference in colour/grain, and the guitar still DOES look orange!! here:




plus i have seen pics of many n4's padauks with flashes and they do not go orange :')

perhaps you got lucky with the guitar you received?

i tried to call boogie street yesterday and today to get new pics of the ACTUAL n4's they have in stock, but no answer

i am surprised to see no n4's selling on ebay (second hand)!

i feel like if i wait too long then boogie and adiron dack with both sell out and there will be no more padauk n4's that i can get new, and i will have to rely on ebay but i don't want to buy a guitar that is less than perfect!

j'essayerai en français:

je veux un padauk (padouk en francais?) foncé, ou un paddy avec un grain gentil en bois de/interesting. je suis dans l'Américain jusqu'à ce que le 31 janvier, et moi ne veuillent pas partir sans padauk n4 ! ! !

eric @ boogie et adiron dack indiqué que cela après cette série du padauk n4, il n'y aura pas plus, parce que le washburn a fini pour toujours la production de eux!
