Citation:
hey guys, thanks for all your interest. As the owner of the amp it has made some good reading!
I have since put more info on the website and Marshall have requested a second viewing of the amp. I can assure you all that it is as genuine as can be and every effort is being made to prove this. It is extremely difficult to prove but it looks as though one of the interestied parties has a photo of this amp with jimi! I am awaiting a copy of the photo but if it is genuine then that will be a fantastic help in the whole issue. Marshall have said this morning (UK time) 'It is an excellent example of a 1966 UK Head which fits what they would expect Jimi to have been using in his early days'. They did say a great deal more but i will post that up on our site after we have had a meeting again during the middle of next week.
Thanks again all for all the usefull info.
Regards
Jamie
