Guns N Roses Management has confirmed to us today that Guns N’ Roses will be performing 2 warm up shows in New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom. The dates are set for May 15th and May 17th. Tickets go on sale April 21st at 10:00AM.
Matt Sorum And Axl Rose "Clear Things Up"
VELVET REVOLVER/ex-GUNS N' ROSES drummer Matt Sorum has posted the following message on his official blog:
"In (New York City) right now. Played here with CAMP FREDDY on Tuesday in Times Square. It was unbelievable. We were hanging off the side of a building. Scott Weiland (Velvet Revolver, ex-STONE TEMPLE PILOTS) sang two and Donovan (Leitch) sang one song. Then after we finished that we went inside and played a set at The Hard Rock Cafe. Great night with a lot of cool guests.
The rest of the (Camp Freddy) band and party went back to L.A. yesterday but I decided to hang a bit. Have been to some great clubs and parties.
Went to a Chrome Hearts party the other night. They make jewelry. And leather. I met Cher and Usher. That was a trip to meet Cher. She was cool. Also saw old friend Lenny Kravitz there. Then last night I went to a club called 6 and 8s. While getting out of the cab I run into Sean Lennon who was leaving and when inside there was Axl Rose. Oh my God. I hadn't seen him in at least six years. I walked over and said hello. We shook hands. And it was pleasant. Later that evening I ended up in a loft somewhere in the East Village where Axl was again. We spoke for quite some time. And it was nice to clear some things up. I told him how great of a frontman he was while I was in the band and no hard feelings from me at all. It was an all-around good vibe, I think.
After the party ended. Axl gave me a ride back to my hotel in his suburban.
I'm headed out now to meet friend Gina Gershon. She knows (New York) so she can show me around."

Axl doit vraiment etre lunatique comme mec un jour super pote et le lendemain tribunaux...enfin je pense que les ex-gunners doivent etre fait dans le meme moule!
Bah l'ami Axl pete un cable en voyant un mec qui le film dans le public; il lui ordonne de lacher le truc mais le mec ne réagissant pas, Axl saute dans le public pour le taper. Ensuite il se fait sortir et dit que le service d'ordre est nul (en gros) et qu'il rentre chez lui...Il a d'ailleurs été condamné pour ca, pour avoir déclencher une émeute (avec des blessés...)
Ce qui me fait marrer c'est Salsh qui s'en va a la fin Il doit se dire "putaiiiiiiin meeeeeeerde AXXXXLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
