Billy Talent have just completed work on their latest album, Billy Talent III!! The album was recorded by noted producer Brendan O’Brien (AC/DC, Stone Temple Pilots) in studios in Los Angeles and Atlanta. Billy Talent III is tentatively scheduled for world-wide release in July 2009. A video for the album’s first single, “Rusted From the Rain” will be shot in Los Angeles in mid-April with director Wayne Isham (Metallica, Bon Jovi, Avenged Sevenfold).

Leading up to the album’s release, the new website will be constantly updated with behind the scenes video footage of the band in the studio and on the set of their video shoot as well as the latest photos. Band members will be posting regular reports from the road prior to the release of the new record. Leading up to the release of the new album, Billy Talent will be performing a number of shows at major festivals around the world including Coachella in California on April 18, the Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey on May 3, Rock Am Ring in Nürburgring, Germany on June 7 (where the band performed in front of over 80,000 fans two years ago), Edgefest in Toronto on June 20 and Rock the Range in Winnipeg on June 27.
