je prefere largement la version sur Maxxus des Lobotomis (meme si le sax vient gacher le tableau)

Moi, dès l'age de 5 ans, j'en ai pris plein les oreilles à cause du papa qui écoutait Toto. Ca a été le 1er groupe ou carrément la 1ere musique que j'écoutais. Jme rappelle de mon père passer Toto IV en boucle quand il est sorti.... Dès qu'ils sont de passage à Paris, j'y vais! J'ai été à tous leurs concerts et meme à ceux de Lukather en solo, j'ai été backstage avec eux, bu avec eux, des autographes sur des CD et tout.
Je suis un énorme fan de Van Halen et de EVH mais le groupe qui m'a lancé dans le bain de ce style de musique, c'est Toto.

J'adore la version de Little Wing par Lukather, quel feeling ! A côté, celles de Vai et SRV me semblent fades, rien qu'au niveau du son.

Si si ils ont fait une tournée en france pour le dernier album (j'ai fait 3 dates de cette tournée) C'était d'ailleur genial. Mike (mon hero) finissait par me reconnaitre a force car j'était toujours au même endroit ==> devant lui !!

je suis un immense fan de toto mon album préféré je dirai the seventh one ou kingdom of desire

je suis d'accord pour kingdom , graaand album , mais alors le live absolutlely live, quelle bouze

luktaher s'en est lui meme excusé et a disde NE PAS l'acheter

sinon moi j'insiste periode isolation ou lukather avait l'art du solo efficace (angel don't cry !) et ou les compos c'etait kekchose

Je suis aussi un grand fan du jeu de luke sur isolation.
Tres agressif, tres inspiré. Enfin bref, ptet pas le tot que tout le monde aime mais que moi j'aime.

Oui oui finalement à la ré écoute de Isolation, moi aussi je le classe parmi mes préférés (avec turn back et Hydra), les riffs sont précis et angel don't cry est excellent. J'aimais bien la voie de fergie et son album solo est pas mal du tout (et bien sur il y les membres de TOTO dedans!). pour tous ce qui tourne autour du groupe, on retrouve bobby Kimball dans le premier album de Far corporation avec notamment une reprise de stairvay to Heaven bizarre...

absolument !
il y a aussi l'album "3" de joseph williams (j'espere que je n'apprendrais rien aux fans en disant que c'est quand meme le fils du grand john williams himself )

bref , l'album "3" avec un fait assez rare : reprise de "going home" avec williams, bobby kimball et fergie frederiksen !

sinon dans les derniers albums y'a quand meme eu des petites perles pour moi, je pense notemment a "better worlds" qui est un putain de titre

En ce qui concerne les albums solos ou anciens groupes on peut noter les moins connu (je vous épargen les los lobotomys et autres...) :

- Bobby avait un autre groupe c'était SSfools.

- Fergie était dans un groupe "Trillion", recement il a fait le magnifique album "Mecca". Et avant il a fé un superbe album qui s'appelle "frederiksen-phillips". Genial !

Steve et Simon phillips on fait un groupe qui s'appelle "Doves of Fire"

Sinon y'a deux ou trois album tres interessant avec nos toto : Ceremony of innocence et L.A Reflexion.

puisqu'on en est à élargir les pistes, on retrouve une partie de la troupe dans le premier solo de Timothy b schmit (ex poco et eagles depuis 79) et je crois même que Lukater à joué sur un album solo du chanteur du groupe Gold (dites moi si je me trompe). Enfin c'est vrai que vu leur réputation de musicien de studio, ils doivent être sur des centaines de titres

Et total on devrait retrouver tout nos toto sur + de 2 000 albums... c'est énorme !!!!!!!!
