Ca remonte même à plus loin. Stone cold crazy était traditionnellement le dernier morceau des concerts de la tournée du black album (commencée à l'été 91 si je ne m'abuse).
Je crois que la version studio de leur reprise doit dater de 1990 ou quelque chose comme ça. Là j'ai un gros doute, mais il me semble qu'elle faisait partie d'une compilation anniversaire pour Mercury (la mason de disque, pas le chanteur).
EDIT : dommage pour le jeu de mot, ce n'était pas Mercury mais Elektra. Voici ce qu'en dit Wikipedia :
