Non, on ne peut pas changer au pied, mais ça ne me dérange pas. L'intérêt, c'est de pouvoir choisir ce que je préfère en fonction de la gratte et de l'ampli que j'utilise, et aussi si je joue sur une base clean ou crunch. Sur mon clone de Matchless, j'utilisais le mode symétrique sur un clean, et le mode led sur base crunch. Et maintenant que j'ai changé d'ampli pour un modèle plus marshallien je préfère le mode germanium.

Pour revenir sur les humbuckers vs fuzz
la Fuzz Face Bonamassa serait "voicée" ou calibrée pour fonctionner de manière optimale avec des HB.. Ce qui a une certaine logique d'ailleurs...

Je l'ai eue et elle ne m'a pas convaincu, je l'ai revendue.

Pareil.. mais je n'ai pas de HB

Idem (c'était la version laiton taille normale).
Pas mauvaise, mais pas ouf.

Bon en même temps c'est pas ouf une FF...
